Faqs

When should I schedule my shoot (maternity)?
About six to ten weeks before your due date is a good time for your shoot.

When should I schedule my shoot (newborn)?
As soon as you are physically able to handle a shoot. Preferably within 1 - 2 weeks after you have had your baby. This stage in your baby's life is perfect as he/she will still have that curliness that is typical of newborns and they tend to sleep more often. Newborn shoots can last as long as 3 - 4 hrs to allow for nursing and comforting breaks so please make sure that you block in enough time the day of your appointment.

What should I wear?
Whatever you’re most comfortable in. However, you should keep in mind that logos, busy patterns and cartoon characters can be distracting. Simple clothing is best. Denim, khakis and knits look great on everyone. For maternity, consider tanks or any stretchy material to show off your belly. Make sure to avoid any tight elastic clothing at least 2 hours before your shoot as they will leave red marks on your skin. For newborns, baby au naturel, plain onesies or simple pampers and blankets is best.

If you’re still uncertain of what would look good, Angela will be happy to help you decide.
